Xiajin Heshuntang

Xiajin Heshuntang is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Xiajin Heshuntang is located at No. 260, Xiajin Village, Houzhai Subdistrict, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient building.

The building faces south and is encircled by a small stream in front, with a single-arch stone bridge situated diagonally to the right, forming a classic scene of a small bridge over flowing water near a dwelling. It features three sections, each with three bays, complemented by wing rooms on both sides, and covers a floor area of 1,033 square meters. The entrance hall has three bays, with the central bay serving as the entryway. The main hall also has three bays and is an open-style space that is bright and spacious. The rear section includes a main-floor building, while the wing rooms form a courtyard complex in a four-sided layout across the second section. The main halls employ raised-beam construction, featuring sturdy beams and exquisite wood carvings. The wing rooms use a post-and-lintel structure, with decorative latticed windows on the exterior, reflecting the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong–Jiaqing period. The site holds significant historical, scientific, and artistic value.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit in April 2013, with the official announcement document number being Yizheng Fa [2013] No. 29, dated April 24, 2013.
