Huxi Village's Solitary Well

Huxi Village's Solitary Well is a cultural relics protection unit at the Jinhua City level.

Huxi Village's Solitary Well is located one meter directly in front of No. 151, Block 6, Huxi Village, Niansanli Subdistrict, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in February 2018, under the announcement document Yizheng Fa [2018] No. 9, dated February 9, 2018.

Huxi Village: Huxi Village is situated in the northeastern part of Yiwu, nestled at the foot of Wuyan Mountain, which is an extension of the Tianmu Mountain range. To the east, it borders Wuning in Dongyang; to the northwest, it neighbors Heyetang; and to the southwest, it connects with Niansanli. The road from Niansanli to Su xi runs through the village. The village currently has 1,170 households and a population of 3,127. According to the "Yu Family Genealogy," the name of the village originates from its surroundings: “With mountains and waters encircling it, and flowers and bamboo flourishing, it thus earned its name.” However, there is also a different version among the locals.
