Shangyang Liuhextang is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level by Jinhua City.

Shangyang Liuhextang is located in Shangyang Village, Chian Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient building.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in December 2011, and as a municipal-level cultural heritage unit in February 2018, with the official announcement number being Yizheng Fa [2018] No. 9, dated February 9, 2018.

Shangyang Village: Strolling through the alleys of Shangyang, beneath your feet lies a path paved with cobblestones, before you stand houses with blue bricks and black tiles, and in the air hovers the dust of time. As you turn corners and weave through halls, you can’t help but notice the upturned eaves and carved beams and columns, their colors faded like aged preserved mustard greens. Villagers say that Shangyang once had 18 halls, but one burned down and another collapsed, leaving 16 today. The oldest of these traditional halls dates back 800 years, a truly astonishing fact.
