Ancient Bridge

The Ancient Bridge is a cultural relics protection unit of Jinhua City.

The Ancient Bridge is located in Yanhua Village, Shangxi Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty (1829, during the Daoguang reign) and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in May 1987, with the announcement document number Yizhengfa [1987] No. 66 dated 1987.05.11.

Cultural value: It is a stone arch bridge with a confirmed construction date and is among the more well-preserved ones in Yiwu.

Protective boundary: The entire bridge structure and approximately two meters of approach ramps on both the eastern and western ends.

Construction control zone: West to 10 meters from the foot of Gangyao Mountain, east to 4 meters from the highway, south to 50 meters downstream of the stream, and north to 20 meters upstream of the stream at the stone wharf.

The town covers an area of 102.8 square kilometers, governs 76 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, and has a permanent population of about 50,000, with nearly 20,000 migrants.
