Leshuntang

Leshuntang is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Leshuntang is located at No. 45 Tiemen, Shenzhai Village, Shangxi Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient building.

The building faces south and covers a total area of 487.6 square meters. It consists of two courtyards, comprising a gate hall, main hall, left and right wing rooms, and two corridors, forming a traditional courtyard layout. The building is notable for its exquisite stone carvings, brick carvings on the façade, and the fine Dongyang wood carvings in the main hall. The stone gate entrance features a bluestone plaque inscribed with the characters “Fēng Bāo Yàn Yí” (丰苞燕诒) in regular script. The side alley gates are respectively labeled with plaques reading “Shí Yùn Shān Huī” (石韫山辉) and “Shuǐ Huái Chuān Mèi” (水怀川媚). The main hall is a ground-floor hall with a post-and-lintel structure, featuring sturdy beams and exquisitely carved woodwork, reflecting the architectural style of the mid-Qing period. It holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection site in June 2006 and upgraded to a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in April 2013, with the official announcement document number being Yizheng Fa [2013] No. 29, dated April 24, 2013.
