Huzhou Historic and Cultural City Scenic Area

　The Huzhou Historic and Cultural City Scenic Area is anchored by five attractions: Lianhua Manor, China Hu Brush Museum, Chen Yingshi’s Former Residence, Feiying Park, and Feiying Pagoda, boasting a long historical lineage and profound cultural significance.

Lianhua Manor was the private retreat of Zhao Mengfu, a master painter and calligrapher of his time, themed around rare stones, gardens, calligraphy and painting, and romance, and is famed in the Jiangnan region for its azure waters, red lotuses, and unique rocks and exotic flowers. The China Hu Brush Museum is currently the only theme museum in China that systematically, comprehensively, and in detail introduces Hu brush culture. Chen Yingshi’s Former Residence is the birthplace of Chen Yingshi, a revolutionary martyr of the Xinhai Revolution. The exhibition primarily follows Chen Yingshi’s revolutionary activities throughout his life, objectively and comprehensively showcasing his life story and historical achievements. Feiying Pagoda, commonly known as the “pagoda within a pagoda,” is one of the “Three Wonders of Huzhou” and a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. Feiying Park, named after Feiying Pagoda, encompasses precious historic sites such as Feiying Pagoda, Yunhai Tower, Miao Miao Pavilion, Liuke Hall, Xi Stream Pavilion, and West Pavilion.
