Lingshi Islet

Lingshi Islet is a small island at the entrance of Tongli Lake to the east of the town, floating on approximately four square kilometers of water and famed for its misty rain views. It is also a sacred site where Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism converge. Accessible only by boat, the journey offers views of the expansive, hazy lake dotted with sails. In the distance, the temple on Lingshi Islet—known for its misty allure—appears like a fairyland floating on emerald waters. The islet features structures such as the Town God’s Temple, Wenchang Pavilion, Doumu Pavilion, a dry boat, zigzag bridges, temple walkways, lotus ponds, and a fish amusement pool. The compact layout combines religious buildings with garden elements. At sunset, visitors can gaze from the islet at the twinkling lights of Tongli Lake, creating a uniquely serene atmosphere.
