The 2014 Taihu Midi Folk and World Music Festival will grandly open at the Taihu Midi Music Park in Qidu Town, Wujiang, Suzhou from October 5–7. To provide music fans with more convenient travel plans, and with full support from the Qidu Town government, the transportation guide—including self-driving routes and four specially opened direct bus/coach lines to the venue—is now officially released.
I.Self-Driving Routes:
1. For travelers coming from the Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway (G15W),headingin that direction, it is recommended to drive to the Shanghai-Suzhou-Zhejiang Expressway (G50) interchange, follow the direction to Huzhou to the Qidu Toll Station, then take the Suzhen-Tao Highway toward Qidu, exit at the Sifangwei Interchange Qiduintersection,thenturn right at the first intersection, and go straight along Punan Avenue (Pujiangyuan Avenue) to reach the venue.Turn right at the first intersection and go straight along Punan Avenue (Pujiangyuan Avenue) to reach your destination.

Note: Return tickets for night shuttle buses on Route 1, Route 2, and Route 4 must be purchased in advance on-site at the music festival on the day of departure.
Tips:
1. To avoid long queues for tickets after the event, please purchase your return bus tickets in advance at the Midi bus ticket booth.
2. Campers arriving at the Midi venue should first go to the camping service desk located right outside the main entrance of the Midi Campsite (camping area) to check in and receive a camping wristband. For camping details, please refer to the Taihu Midi Music Festival Camping Guide.
3. Self-driving attendees should park at the designated social vehicle parking area. Illegal parking along the main roads of the music festival site will result in your vehicle being towed by traffic authorities.
