Wujiang Park

Wujiang Park is located in Songling Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is currently the largest comprehensive park in the Songling urban area. In its early days, the park mainly developed amusement facilities through business recruitment and venue leasing. Established in 1992, the park now has well-formed trees and lush vegetation, truly becoming the city’s green lung.

The park management will maintain the maximum amount of greenery and scenic views, while adding sports and fitness facilities and spaces based on the needs of residents. The park now has full Wi-Fi coverage, allowing free internet access anytime, anywhere, and also offers paddle boats for visitors to enjoy.

Located in the southwest corner of the park, the 1,500-square-meter morning exercise area consists of two sections, primarily serving group exercises for middle-aged and elderly people. Each section is equipped with free power outlets and features an outdoor fitness trail. The roller skating rink, built on the former site of the children’s playground, covers 3,000 square meters, with a 2,000-square-meter skating area designed for inline skates. A supporting leisure area featuring traditional Suzhou-style corridor architecture has also been completed. The park has a 1,000-meter-long health trail, a medium-sized ice rink in the northern part, numerous children's play facilities, and many fitness activities suitable for young people, making it a great place for citizens to relax and exercise.

Taihu New Town (Songling Subdistrict): The administrative area of Songling Subdistrict consists of ten neighborhood committees from the former Songling Town—Xitang, Beimen, Luxiang Village 3, Luxiang Village 2, Dongmen, Chengzhong, Shili, Xiyuanwei, Meishi, and Xiangtai—as well as five village committees: Nanshe, Jiangxin, Nanliu, Second Fishery, and Qiangang. It also includes nine neighborhood committees from the former Binhu Subdistrict—Aolin Qinghua, Shuixiang, Xinyuan, Suhe, Hubin Huacheng, Longhe, Shuixiu, Changban, and Dongmei—and seven village committees: Changan, Ludang, Bujiu, Liantuan, Gaoxin, Wumo, and Meili.
