Andai Bridge is a Suzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Andai Bridge is located on Siqian Street in Pingwang Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, spanning the confluence of the ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Ditang River. It was first built during the Dali era of the Tang Dynasty (766–779). It was rebuilt in the third year of the Qingyuan reign of the Southern Song Dynasty (1197) and underwent multiple renovations during the Ming and Qing dynasties, with a final reconstruction in the eleventh year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1872). The bridge runs from north to south and features a single-arch stone structure. The bridge deck is 4.53 meters wide, the total length is 54 meters, the height is 9.30 meters, and the span is 11.50 meters. With its majestic form, it is the largest bridge in Wujiang.

On July 1, 1986, Andai Bridge was announced by the municipal government as part of the second batch of Wujiang City Cultural Relics Protection Units. In September 2012, due to an administrative division change in Wujiang, it was adjusted to a Suzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit. It is now listed as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit as one of the affiliated heritage sites of the “Grand Canal.”

Pingwang Town: Pingwang Town in Wujiang City is located at the center of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Shanghai — three provinces and one municipality. It is 95 kilometers east of Shanghai, 55 kilometers west of Huzhou, 30 kilometers south of Jiaxing, and 35 kilometers north of Suzhou. National Highway 318, Provincial Highway 227, the Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway, and the Shanghai-Jiangsu-Zhejiang Expressway all converge through the town. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Taipu River flow across the outskirts of the town, effectively connecting the wealthiest regions of the Yangtze River Delta — including Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhou — with Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Huzhou.
