Yunfo Mountain Resort is perfect for spring outings. With mild spring breezes, rippling lake waters, and the pine trees on the mountains turning lush green, you can also enjoy fresh air.

Fishing: The water quality in the artificial lake is quite good. Aside from fish farming, the lakeside corridor has a distinctly Suzhou-style garden aesthetic. The lake is stocked with the same species of fish found in the Miyun Reservoir, including carp, grass carp, red fish, and bighead carp, with prices averaging 4–5 yuan higher than market rates. You may bring your own fishing rod or rent one for 20 yuan per use.

BBQ: Guests can have a self-service barbecue, but both equipment and food must be provided by the resort.

Bus route: Dongzhimen Long-Distance Bus Station – take bus 987 – Yunfo Mountain Resort (total travel time: 120 minutes)

Driving route: Take the Beijing–Chengde Expressway, exit at Miyun Station, then drive straight north. You can spot the large Chinese character “佛” (Buddha) on Yunfo Mountain from afar. The whole trip takes about 50 minutes.

Tips: No need to prepare barbecue equipment or food. You may bring skewers, disposable chopsticks, paper cups, plastic gloves, small brushes, various seasonings, etc.
