On March 2, 2013, we went to the Miyun Reservoir to see the swans. We had thought that some of the ice on the reservoir would have melted by then, but the entire reservoir was still covered in ice, and we didn’t spot any swans. However, there were quite a few birds wintering here. We stayed until sunset and still managed to have some rewarding sightings.
