The White Pagoda at Slender West Lake is a cultural tourism attraction.

The White Pagoda at Slender West Lake: Located by the shores of Slender West Lake. It was first built during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, and its style resembles that of the White Pagoda at Beihai Park in Beijing. Beneath the pagoda lies a rectangular high platform surrounded by railings. At the front is a small terrace, with steps leading up to it from both sides and the front. The pagoda stands in the center of the platform, with a brick-carved Sumeru pedestal at its base, above which is the main body of the pagoda (also called the "treasure vase"), then the pagoda’s neck, followed by thirteen slender, circular tiers known as the “Thirteen Heavens,” topped with a round disc, and finally crowned with a copper gourd-shaped finial. This pagoda is built of brick and is a form of stupa, named for its white finish. It is one of the famous scenic sights of Slender West Lake.
