Shugang West Peak Ecological Park Yangzhou’s Shugang West Peak Ecological Park is located in the northern part of the Shugang—Slender West Lake Scenic Area. It stretches from Yangzijiang Road in the east to the cobalt room of the Agricultural Science Institute in the west, from Pingshan Hall West Road in the south to Taiyang Road and the Bagua Pond area at the foot of the hill in the north, covering a total area of 400,000 square meters. The park is primarily covered with trees and greenery, with sections of rivers and ponds having been excavated and renovated, additional auxiliary facilities such as public toilets added, and sightseeing electric vehicles introduced. To better facilitate visitors’ enjoyment, a total of 3.3 kilometers of walking paths have been built within the park. In terms of landscaping, 83 species of flowers, plants, and trees have been planted, along with 9,400 square meters of lawn, giving the area the initial appearance of a vast forest.
