Little Jinshan

Little Jinshan is a cultural relic protection unit of Yangzhou City.

Little Jinshan is the largest island in Slender West Lake and the area with the densest concentration of architecture on the lake. The Wind Pavilion, Blowing Terrace, Music Room, Osmanthus Study, Chess Room, and Moon Viewing Pavilion are all located here.

Inside Little Jinshan, there is a stalactite that is a remnant from Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty’s construction of the Longevity Mountain potted landscape. At that time, the peasant uprising led by Fang La occurred, and many of the materials intended for Longevity Mountain—part of the so-called "Flower and Rock Tribute"—were seized. This stalactite remained in Yangzhou and is considered a famous stone due to its resemblance to a precious ship.
