The Factory Salt Guild Hall is a Yangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Huainan Factory Salt Guild Hall is located at No. 62 Xindaoyuan Lane in Yangzhou’s urban area. It is a Qing Dynasty–era building, facing south, with six courtyards in sequence, covering a land area of 954 square meters and a construction area of 448 square meters. The main gate faces south, and the brick-carved gate tower is 2.98 meters wide and 3.8 meters high at the eaves, adorned with carvings of lotus flowers, lotus petals, and scroll motifs. The first courtyard’s entrance room is three bays wide, spanning 11 meters, and 4.8 meters deep with five rafters, featuring a small-tile roof and a flush-gable roof. The second courtyard is the ceremonial gate entrance room, consisting of three-bay side rooms. The ceremonial gate is a water-milled brick gate tower, 3.02 meters wide and 3.8 meters high overall, carved with images of the Three Stars of Blessing, Prosperity, and Longevity. The third courtyard is three bays wide, 11 meters, and 8 meters deep with seven rafters, featuring a small-tile roof and a flush-gable roof. The fourth courtyard is three bays wide, 11 meters, and 7.1 meters deep with seven rafters, featuring a small-tile roof and a flush-gable roof. The fifth courtyard is a two-story building, three bays wide, 11 meters, and 6.8 meters deep with seven rafters, featuring a small-tile roof and a flush-gable roof. The sixth courtyard is three bays wide, 11 meters, and 4.3 meters deep with five rafters, featuring a small-tile roof and a flush-gable roof. The western garden of the building has been destroyed and is now occupied by residential structures built by local residents. Yangzhou salt merchants were divided into three categories: field merchants, transport merchants, and sales merchants, engaged in salt production, transportation, and sales respectively.
