The Former Residence and Tomb of Martyr Zhu Liangjun is a cultural relics protection unit of Yangzhou City.

The Former Residence and Tomb of Martyr Zhu Liangjun (Former Residence newly added)

It is now a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit, located northwest of Huangjinba in the urban area. Zhu Liangjun (1910–1926) was a martyr who died in the March 18 Massacre in Beiping in 1926. Originally from Yangzhou, he moved to Beiping with his father at a young age to attend school. In 1926, he took part in an anti-imperialist demonstration in front of Tiananmen and was martyred alongside Liu Hezhen and other patriots. In 1928, his coffin was transported back to Yangzhou and buried here. The cemetery covers an area of 20 square meters, originally surrounded by a brick wall, with a moon gate on the eastern side. The tomb mound is built on a small platform, about 1 meter high, with a tombstone in front inscribed in clerical script: “Tomb of Martyr Zhu Liangjun of the March 18 Incident.” The upper inscription reads “Mid-winter, Year of Wuchen,” and the lower one “Erected by fellow villagers of Jiangyi.”
