Nanjing Green Island Farm is named for its location on a small island surrounded by water. Situated in Pu, Honglan Town, Lishui County, the farm is directly accessible via the Ninggao Highway, which runs alongside it. It lies on the mandatory route for the plum blossom viewing tour to Fujiabian during the Nanjing International Plum Blossom Festival, making it easily reachable.

The farm integrates planting, breeding, processing, catering, tourism, sightseeing, and leisure agriculture. It boasts a 1,000-acre pollution-free planting base and four high-quality ecological breeding bases for black-feathered specialty poultry. Its main specialty agricultural products include: black-feathered black-bone chickens, “Black Feather” brand green-shell eggs, vacuum-packed dog meat, braised beef, dried wind fish, small peanuts, tea leaves, the Nanjing Agricultural University series of roast chicken, pollution-free fresh seasonal vegetables, gift-watermelons, sugarcane, strawberries, and more than ten other types of agricultural products.

The overall environment is beautiful and the layout is well-planned, featuring strong characteristics of a traditional southern-style agritainment farm. It includes a 500-square-meter wooden cabin restaurant, an 1,800-square-meter eco-friendly parking lot (capable of accommodating 160 diners at once), an 800-square-meter leisure lawn, a weeping willow scenic belt, and a fishing center. Major attractions include: a new vegetable variety demonstration garden, a farming adoption garden, a self-picking fun garden that includes a greenhouse strawberry garden, a rare melon and vegetable garden, a citizens’ vegetable plot, a farming experience garden, a wild vegetable garden, and an egg-picking playground at the bamboo forest ecological breeding demonstration base. Additionally, there is a 500-square-meter comprehensive training center building that offers free services such as leisure, entertainment, conferences, and business discussions for visitors.
