Wuxi Taihu Flower Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Wuxi Taihu Flower Garden is a specialized botanical garden dedicated to flowers, integrating science education, tourism, and leisure vacation as a unique urban park. Covering an area of over 600 acres, it is located at the foot of Shunko Mountain in the western suburbs of the city. It is a national AAA-level scenic spot, one of China's first national agricultural tourism demonstration sites, and a social practice base for elementary school students in Binhu District.

Taihu Flower Garden consists of three main areas: the Science Education Zone, the Leisure Vacation Zone, and the Eco-Tourism Zone.

The Science Education Zone includes a science center, a flower plaza, a bonsai garden, and a flower production base. Leveraging the garden’s rich plant resources and advanced audiovisual teaching facilities, it has specially designed hands-on activities tailored for primary and secondary school students, including flower arrangement, tea knowledge, bonsai making, and outdoor team-building exercises.

The Leisure Vacation Zone comprises Shunlong Lake and the Binhu Agriculture and Forestry Science and Technology Training Center. The lakeside is lush with vegetation and surrounded by green trees, featuring recreational amenities such as swings, grass pavilions, and two tennis courts. It is an ideal place for fishing, exercise, and vacation. The training center specializes in conference and training services, with complete supporting facilities including guest rooms, restaurants, and meeting rooms. Entirely situated within a 600-acre ecological garden, it is a rare eco-friendly resort in the Jiangnan region and a perfect venue for gatherings, meetings, and family leisure.

The Eco-Tourism Zone boasts abundant plant resources. During the seasons when flowers bloom and fruits and tea are fragrant, the annual Taihu Flower Festival and Bayberry Festival are held here. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of nature, pick tea leaves and fruits by hand, and fully experience the simple joys of family bonding in nature and eco-friendly green travel.

Additionally, the garden highlights barbecue, science education, team-building, and orienteering activities. The barbecue area spans 600 m², offering both open-air and indoor grilling options, with a capacity to accommodate around 300 people and two set meal choices. The team-building activities include trust falls, forest obstacle courses, blindfolded team challenges, electric fence crossings, and wheelbarrow races.

Transportation by Bus: In Wuxi City, take bus routes 26, 83, 206, 608, or 615, get off at Dongshan Lixin Campus Station, and walk west along Meicha 1st Road to reach the garden.

Self-Drive Route: Take the Jiangyin Expressway – Xicheng Expressway/Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, exit at Wuxi West – proceed to No. 88, Middle Section of Qianrong Road; or take the Nanjing-Hangzhou Expressway – Xiyi Expressway, exit at Wuxi West – proceed to No. 88, Middle Section of Qianrong Road.
