Europe City

Located by Taihu Lake, also known as "World Wonder Europe City," it is a film and television shooting base of China Central Television. Major attractions include the Ancient Greek "Temple of Zeus," the French "Arc de Triomphe," the British "Prehistoric Stonehenge," the Portuguese "Belém Tower," the Norwegian "Rural Church," German castles, Russian manors, Italian "Water Courtyard," and "European Street."

Europe City is an important component of the overall construction plan of China Central Television Wuxi Taihu Film and Television City. It was jointly developed by Taihu Film and Television City and Macau Yilian Co., Ltd., covering an area of 200 acres with an investment of 100 million RMB. As the foremost of the five major scenic areas of the "World Wonders," its planning focuses on cultural characteristics and integrates various functional designs. It serves not only as a filming location but also offers visitors a new experience of exotic amusement and aesthetic enjoyment. Currently, Europe City has completed six studios and over 30 scenic spots.

The structural layout of Europe City adopts the commonly seen "ring-radial" urban planning style in European cities. The center is a commercial plaza, with multiple pedestrian streets radiating outward in all directions. A circular tree-lined boulevard connects various exotic-style and boutique commercial pavilions. The outer ring features landscape plazas that reflect the unique charm of different European countries, while the inner ring is a circular commercial pedestrian street connecting various specialty shops, surrounded by high-rise apartment buildings. The architectural forms are staggered, harmonious in space, richly varied, and highlight the commercial layout of a "city within a city." Pedestrian flow is directed from six directions into the central commercial area. Europe City includes five major landscape leisure and waterscape plazas along with a children's playground. Notable landmarks from across Europe are built at each main entrance. Upon completion, a four-lane public transit route running from west to east will pass underground through Europe City, allowing direct access to shopping and sightseeing areas.

Europe City is a flagship building in Wenzhou that integrates commerce, residence, entertainment, leisure, tourism, and office spaces, featuring mid- to high-end branded products. The rise of Europe City marks a new level for Wenzhou’s commercial formats, greatly enhancing the shopping experience for residents and becoming an ideal destination where locals can enjoy both shopping and leisure.
