Wuxi Baojie Mountain-Forest Park

Baojie Mountain-Forest Park is located at the southern end of Baojie Shuanghong Bridge, covering an area of 18 hectares. It borders the mountainous area of Turtle Head Isle Scenic Spot to the west and extends to the western shore of Li Lake to the east. The park was built after the complete relocation of the original Baojie Village, with a construction scale of 40 hectares. Together with the lakeside area, it forms another picturesque lakeside attraction where mountains and water blend seamlessly.

To cater to tourism needs, the park has made full use of the natural mountain forests and hills to build artificial streams, waterfalls, creekside viewing platforms, leisure lawn areas, bamboo forest teahouses, and dripping teapot installations. It also constructed a scenic sightseeing road connecting to the lakeside area, allowing visitors to easily enjoy the lake and mountain views of Baojie by vehicle. Additionally, hiking trails have been developed leading up to a large observation platform at the top of Baojie Mountain. This platform is a two-story cylindrical structure, with the second floor featuring an all-glass enclosed teahouse that offers tea services. A staircase leads up to a 360-degree open-air observation deck.

The observation platform enjoys a prime location nestled between two lakes and a mountain, forming a twin-peaked vista with “Deer Summit Greeting the Morning Light.” To the west, the vast expanse of Taihu Lake unfolds before your eyes, while overlooking Li Lake and the urban landscape offers an unobstructed panoramic view, embodying the concept of “one mountain, two lakes.” It not only adds a new highlight to the southern side of Baojie Shuanghong Bridge but also significantly enhances the entrance image of the Taihu Lake Turtle Head Isle Scenic Area. Visitors can relax here while fully enjoying the fresh air and immersing themselves in nature.
