Li Lake Exhibition Hall

The Li Lake area is a cultural hub where Wu culture, industrial and commercial culture, fishery culture, tourism and film culture, and celebrity culture converge. The Li Lake Exhibition Hall is located on the eastern lakeside near the north entrance of Bo Gong Island. The total construction area of the hall is 3,400 square meters, including an exhibition area of 1,170 square meters and a functional area of 2,230 square meters. It was completed and opened to the public on January 21, 2006.

The exhibition area of the hall is divided into five sections: Landscape, People and Water, Water Management, Water Interaction, and Future. Utilizing various display methods such as graphic panels, physical models, and multimedia presentations, it fully showcases the cultural resources, ecological assets, and development achievements of Li Lake; highlighting the area’s cultural heritage and humanistic spirit, it aims to inspire and educate visitors to approach, understand, and care for Li Lake. The basement level extensively employs high-tech means such as sound, light, electricity, and a 10-meter-wide by 3-meter-high panoramic film screen to present the construction achievements and long-term planning vision of the Li Lake area.

The Li Lake Exhibition Hall comprehensively presents the landscape and nature, history and culture, governance and development, as well as the future and vision of Li Lake. It is both an exhibition space showcasing the construction achievements of Wuxi’s Li Lake area and a science education venue promoting environmental awareness and ecological protection among the general public.
