Lihu Lake Light is situated at the junction of Huanhu Road and Lianghu Road, at the western end of Taihu Avenue, spanning about 6.8 hectares. It acts as a key gateway to the Lihu Scenic Area. With a design philosophy centered on nature and people, the site offers user-friendly features such as lakeside terraces, lake-spanning boardwalks, sail-like shaded walkways, and observation decks that can host hundreds of visitors. These are enhanced by expansive lawns and flower gardens along the lake, vividly reflecting contemporary style and rich cultural values. It is also the best viewing spot for the Hundred-Meter Fountain.

The hundred-meter fountain in the lake is located outside the City Light node, about 400 meters from the extended terminal line of Taihu Avenue. The hundred-meter high jet is an iconic landmark of Lihu Lake. It consists of a main jet and auxiliary jets: the main jet reaches a maximum height of 120 meters, the auxiliary jets 40 meters, and the skirt jets 30 meters. The display is majestic and awe-inspiring. The main jet shoots up like a dragon emerging from the sea, creating a “pillar holding up the sky” spectacle on the lake. The auxiliary jets encircle the main one, resembling a giant floral basket of water, undulating with various dynamic patterns. They can operate either in combination with the main jet or independently, forming a spectacular scene of flying fountains and sail shadows together with the lakeside boardwalks and sail-shaped shaded corridors.

At night, laser lighting dances with the water jets in a colorful display, embodying the contemporary themes of “green, life, environmental protection, and humanity” at Lihu Lake Light.
