Wuxi Jinkui Park

Jinkui Park is situated south of Gaolang Road, west of Suxi Road, north of Guanshan Road, and east of Lide Avenue, covering an area of 650,000 square meters. The overall park construction emphasizes the harmony between landscape and water, with large-scale tree planting, flower cultivation, and grass seeding, as well as the introduction of regionally appropriate aquatic plants, establishing it as the “green lung” of Taihu New Town. The park also includes appropriately built public facilities for sports, culture, history, business, and leisure to meet the recreational needs of residents. As the largest free-themed park in southern Wuxi, Jinkui Park is also a landmark green space at the center of Taihu New Town.

Jinkui Park is arranged in a rather unique way, featuring long wooden bridges. It is actually also a wetland park, with lotus flowers in the ponds. These greens not only enhance the beauty of the park but also help purify the water.

The lakeside leisure area of the park is located on the eastern side of the central water body and serves as an outdoor ecological reception hall for the entire area. Dense background woods, open lawn spaces, and the central lake complement each other, creating a multi-layered spatial environment. Through the transformation of flowing steel-frame landscape skybridges, eco-friendly wooden boardwalks, and leisure plazas, the area achieves an urban cultural ambiance that is both refined and uncluttered. The main greening tree species selected include ginkgo, cedar, black pine, metasequoia, and bald cypress.

Since the park is far from the city center, few visitors come here. Aside from breathing fresh air, visitors can also find a long-lost sense of tranquility. It’s a great idea to bring your family here during holidays—you won’t be disappointed.
