The Wuxi Animation and Toy Museum is located in the Innovation and Creativity Industrial Park in Wuxi’s New District. It officially opened to the public free of charge on January 4, 2010, serving as a platform for Wuxi’s “National Animation Industry Base” to showcase its development achievements. The museum covers an area of approximately 1,100 square meters, with exhibits arranged by theme, including an anime merchandise sales area, a Wuxi animation achievements exhibition area, an animation toy exhibition area, a military model exhibition area, and a science education exhibition area.

The exhibits are arranged by theme and include an anime merchandise sales area, a Wuxi animation achievements exhibition area, an anime mini-theater, an animation toy exhibition area, a military model exhibition area, a science education exhibition area (paleontology), a 7+7 anime-themed exhibition area, McDonald’s merchandise, an anime hall of fame, an anime character photo zone, and an interactive area.

Among them, the animation toy exhibition area features tens of thousands of anime figurines, including well-known characters such as Ultraman, Dragon Ball, Chibi Maruko-chan, Astro Boy, and Doraemon, creating a paradise of anime toys for children. The military model exhibition area displays representative replica airplanes and tanks from around the world, showcasing the history of military equipment development and serving as excellent patriotic education material. The paleontology exhibition area illustrates the evolutionary history of life on Earth, featuring various rare animals and plant models preserved today, making it great educational material for biology. The Wuxi animation achievements exhibition area gathers representative original animations and anime characters from Wuxi, highlighting the creative achievements of Jiangsu Province’s animation industry. The sales area mainly offers anime merchandise and licensed character products developed by domestic original animation companies.
