Lingshan Scenic Area is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Lingshan Paradise is located in the scenic Mashan area of Wuxi, with Lingshan Mountain to the north and Taihu Lake to the south. It perfectly integrates the long-standing Buddhist culture with the beautiful natural scenery, and is China's most complete and the only Buddhist cultural theme park that focuses on displaying the achievements of Sakyamuni. After 17 years of development, it has become a world-famous destination for Buddhist culture tourism and prayer.

The park features a grand scale and rich, vivid content. With a blend of historical heritage and modern characteristics, it creates a unique tourism and cultural landscape where traditional culture, modern art, Buddhist culture, and technological civilization intersect. The bronze standing statue of Sakyamuni, the "Lingshan Grand Buddha," the thousand-year-old "Xiangfu Temple," the large-scale dynamic musical sculpture group "Nine Dragons Bathing the Buddha," the venue of the World Buddhist Forum, the "Lingshan Brahma Palace," the "Five Pagoda Thangka" showcasing the essence of Tibetan Buddhist art and culture, as well as many other premium Buddhist cultural landscapes complement each other, forming a complete, orderly, independent yet closely connected ensemble of Buddhist cultural attractions.

Opening hours:

The scenic area is open from 7:00–17:30 in summer and 7:00–17:00 in winter; the Five Pagoda Thangka is open from 9:00–18:00, with slight adjustments according to peak and off-peak seasons. The Lingshan Brahma Palace is open from 7:30–17:30. There is no fixed closing time for the scenic area, but there is no lighting at night, so it is recommended to exit the park by the above times.

Transportation

① From Hangzhou: Take the Shangtang Road Elevated Highway – G25 (Hangzhou–Nanjing Expressway) – S48 Xiyi Expressway – Luqu – Mashan – Lingshan Paradise (approximately 1.5 hours total). ② From Changzhou: Take Wujin Caqiao – Xueyuanqiao – Lingshan (about 40 minutes).

③ From Nanjing: Take G42 Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway – Wuxi North Exit – S48 Shanghai–Yixing Expressway – Luqu – Mashan – Lingshan Paradise (approximately 2 hours total). ④ From Shanghai: Take G42 Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway – Wuxi North Exit – S48 Shanghai–Yixing Expressway – Luqu – Mashan – Lingshan Paradise (approximately 1.5 hours total). On weekends and holidays, there are direct tourist shuttle buses from Shanghai Yangpu Sports Center, Hongkou Football Stadium, and Shanghai Stadium to the Lingshan Grand Buddha, returning in the afternoon.

⑤ From within Wuxi City: Take air-conditioned Bus 88 from Wuxi Railway Station (2 RMB fare) directly to the terminal. Alternatively, take Bus 89 from Meiyuan, with the terminal at Lingshan Paradise.

I. Ticket types: ① Regular ticket 210 RMB: for general individual visitors; ② Half-price ticket 105 RMB: for children between 1.2–1.5 meters tall and Wuxi teachers with over 30 years of teaching experience; ③ Senior ticket 160 RMB: for seniors aged 60–70; ④ Super senior ticket 90 RMB: for seniors aged 70 and above (all include free entry to the Five Pagoda Thangka and the Lingshan Auspicious Chant Performance; seniors must present valid ID).

II. Free admission: Children under 1.2 meters, elderly from this province, active-duty military personnel, people with disabilities, and those holding a retirement certificate issued by the State Council. Free entry to the main gate, plus free entry to the Five Pagoda Thangka and the Lingshan Auspicious Chant Performance (50 RMB per person).

【Auspicious Chant】Performance schedule

On weekdays (Monday to Friday), there are four performances (10:30; 11:30; 14:00; 16:00); on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), there are six performances (10:35; 11:30; 13:00; 14:00; 15:00; 16:00).

【Nine Dragons Bathing the Buddha】schedule

Four shows per day at 10:00, 11:30, 14:45, and 16:45.
