Bodhi Avenue

Bodhi Avenue is lined with 216 ginkgo trees. In autumn, their swaying shadows and golden leaves falling in the breeze create a uniquely Zen atmosphere.

Passing through the Five Wisdom Gates, you’ll arrive at Bodhi Avenue, which is the essential route to the Nine-Dragon Waterfall.

The center of the avenue features carvings of seven lotus flowers, while both sides of the path are adorned with continuous cloud patterns on the ground, phonetically symbolizing “continuous fortune.”

As you walk along Bodhi Avenue, you can feel the Zen ambiance described by the saying, “One flower, one world; one leaf, one Buddha.”

Located within the Lingshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area in Wuxi, it can be reached as follows:

1. Take bus 88 from Wuxi Railway Station and get off at Bibo Mountain Villa Station. The ride takes about 2.5 hours. After disembarking, walk approximately 300 meters to reach the Lingshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area, then walk to Bodhi Avenue.

2. Take bus 89 from Wuxi Central Station and get off at Bibo Mountain Villa Station. The ride takes about 2.5 hours. After disembarking, walk approximately 300 meters to reach the Lingshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area, then walk to Bodhi Avenue.
