South Lake Park in Shuyang

South Lake Park in Shuyang is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

As a national AAA-level tourist attraction, the park covers a total area of 1,193 mu and features main attractions such as South Lake, China (Shuyang) Flower and Wood Museum, 3D Painting Art Gallery, Children’s Amusement Park, Observation Pavilion, and Chongxiao Garden. South Lake, covering 442 mu, is composed of the central lake and the scenic river on the west side. The central lake was excavated based on the low-lying terrain, with a water surface area of 272 mu. Both the entire water surface and the central island are designed in the shape of Shuyang’s map. The China (Shuyang) Flower and Wood Museum is built on the island, where the city flower of Shuyang—pomegranate blossoms—are extensively planted. The gracefully winding park paths and the harmonious ecological scenery add a new urban highlight to the southern new town and bring green landscapes to Shuyang, the hometown of flowers.
