Chongxiao Garden

Chongxiao Garden is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Chongxiao Garden in Shuyang County was established in 2008 as a cultural welfare project voluntarily initiated and collectively developed by volunteers. Integrating functions such as education, culture, sports, entertainment, and aesthetics, the main facilities and attractions of Chongxiao Garden include: calligraphy exhibitions, an ancient filial piety culture corridor, statues of exemplary filial children, displays of filial piety relics and books, Chunhui Square, the "Path of Filial Piety" character display, the "Chongxiao Gate," the Filial Piety Wall, "Filial Mountain," and Chunhui Square, which can host larger events. Currently under construction are the "Illustrated Scroll of Filial Piety Paintings," a calligraphy stele corridor for the "Classic of Filial Piety," a Chongxiao couplet stele corridor, inscribed stelae for the Chongxiao poetry garden, exhibitions of authentic calligraphy and paintings, and "Moral Lectures." Additionally, there are various carvings, decorative pieces, inscriptions, and engraved stones related to filial piety. The garden also houses the "Kangle Rural Library" with nearly 10,000 books and a computer-equipped digital reading room, a movie square that screens films weekly, the "Kangle Cultural and Sports Center" featuring a basketball court, table tennis courts, and fitness equipment, a classroom equipped with a projector, and a "Rural Bookstore" affiliated with the county’s Xinhua Bookstore.
