Shaxu Martyrs' Cemetery

Shaxu Martyrs' Cemetery is located on the east side of the north-south highway between Yanghe Town and Tuyuan Township. It is the resting place of some officers and soldiers from the 15th Regiment of the 12th Column of the People's Liberation Army who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Yanghe during the Liberation War. After the war, to honor the martyrs' contributions, nearby towns such as Yanghe, Tuyuan, and Zhenglou designated this site as an educational base. …
