Former Site of Gospel Church and Mercy Hospital
The former site of the Gospel Church and Mercy Hospital is a protected cultural heritage site of Jiangsu Province.
The former site of the Gospel Church and Mercy Hospital is located on Heping Road in Qingjiangpu District, Huai'an City. The existing Gospel Church was built around 1900 by missionary Midian and consists of the Heping Road Gospel Church and the Jilong East Lane Gospel Church. The former site of the Gospel Church and Mercy Hospital served as an important early Christian missionary site in Jiangsu and is also one of the earlier modern hospital relics in northern Jiangsu. It has had a certain influence in Jiangsu and across the country, holding significant historical and social value.
