Shanghai Film Park (Shanghai Chedun Film Base) is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Situated in Songjiang District, Shanghai Film Park recreates classic scenes and architecture from Shanghai in the early 20th century. Landmarks such as Nanjing Road, Sincere Department Store, Moller Villa, the former residence of T.V. Soong, Xujiahui Catholic Church, as well as vintage trams and telephone booths, bring visitors back to the opulence of old Shanghai.

The park is infused with cinematic elements. From wax figures of famous stars like Zhou Xuan, Ruan Lingyu, Shangguan Yunzhu, and Gong Li, to displays of film costumes, and classic scenes from films like "Sunrise" and "The Greatest President," all evoke memories of iconic movies.

At 10:30 and 14:00 daily, two martial arts stunt shows take place outside the Yile Tian Teahouse, where visitors may also be invited to make a “friendly cameo.”

With its purely old-Shanghai street scenery, Shanghai Film Park has become a popular spot for couples to shoot their wedding photos.

Transportation: The Shanghai Stadium Tourist Shuttle departs at 8:40 am and returns at 1:30 pm, costing 55 yuan, which includes round-trip bus fare and park admission. Alternatively, you can take a suburban bus bound for Jinshan from Shanghai West Bus Station or Jinjiang Park Station on Line 1 of the metro, and get off at Chedun Station.
