Tomato Farm is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Shanghai Tomato Farm Tourist Area is situated in the water resource conservation area of the upper reaches of the Huangpu River, in the southwest of Songjiang, a historic ancient city, within the Wushe Sightseeing Agricultural Park of Maogang Town. It is bordered by the A3 Expressway to the east and Rutang Port (the Xinbang exit of the Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway) to the west, approximately 45 kilometers from downtown Shanghai. As one of the three key central towns under development in Songjiang District, the area boasts thousands of acres of fertile land, a rich cultural heritage, simple folk customs, and offers a rare retreat on the outskirts of Shanghai that combines vibrant urban agriculture with the scenic charm of the Jiangnan water town. This "clean water, clean air, clean soil" leisure, sightseeing, and vacation destination is truly unique.

The tourist area consists of several themed zones: Tomato Farm (including Miao Village, Mongolian Village, Jiangnan Village, Garden Village, Tibet Village, Xinjiang Village, Golf Village, Sacred Lake Village, Shallow Bay, and Equestrian Club), Xianggelila (featuring Qiu Tianxia Sports Center, 7.7 Blue Island, and Grape Homestead), Fisherman’s Farm, Dutch Style Village, Simba Pet Paradise, Tianyi Pigeon Garden, Green Grape Garden, Modern Agricultural Sightseeing Park, and Huasongyuan Resort.

The tourist area features uniquely styled independent villas, Jiangnan-style wooden cottages, Miao stilted houses, Mongolian yurts, Islamic-style guest rooms, two-story Tibetan-style buildings, and more. There are over 800 beds available across various room types including villa suites, standard rooms, business suites, standard business rooms, two-room-one-living-room yurts, two- to three-person wooden cottage standard rooms, and regular two- to three-person guest rooms. There are also over 30 meeting rooms of varying sizes.
