Shanghai Weimeng Ecological Forest is located in Dongjing Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai. It is a modern agricultural company integrating modern agriculture, eco-tourism, and urban agricultural sightseeing. It is a joint venture jointly invested in by Taiwanese businesses and the local village.

After five years of development, it has now taken shape as a modern farm covering an area of about 3,600 acres, with dozens of Chinese and Western-style attractions. The estate features an intricate network of waterways, offering abundant aquatic scenic resources, and has planted over 280 varieties of seedlings, totaling more than one million plants. In addition, there is a nearly 20,000-square-meter modern agricultural technology exhibition center, which includes attached services such as guest rooms, dining, and entertainment to meet the needs of visitors for tours, discussions, and conferences. There is also a small villa complex available for leisure stays for visiting tourists.

Upon entering Huaqiao, you are greeted by a dense forest. The farm is filled with birdsong and floral scents. The greenbelts along the pathways are pleasing to the eye, and the small bridges over flowing water create a tranquil atmosphere. The attractions are primarily nature-based, returning to simplicity and authenticity, allowing visitors to directly immerse themselves in the elements of water, sand, trees, and grass, providing a feeling of being in the midst of nature. An ethnic culture village with distinctive national characteristics has also been established in the bamboo forest area.

The park features a wide variety of tree species, including acacia trees introduced from Australia, as well as many thousand-year-old osmanthus trees, living fossil ginkgo trees, and ancient camphor trees.

Considering the developmental needs of youth and to foster their awareness of science and technology, we have spared no expense in allocating a large area as an activity base for model airplanes and model ships. We have partnered with the Shanghai Model Aircraft Association to build a model aircraft airport within the estate suitable for competitions. We look forward to welcoming model aircraft enthusiasts from Shanghai and across the nation to hold various levels of model aircraft competitions here.

We have also fully considered the fitness needs of the general public. By utilizing the paths within the park, we have built a fitness trail that massages the soles of the feet. Additionally, tennis courts, swings, carts, and other fitness facilities will be constructed to help people exercise and cultivate their sentiments.

To improve service quality, we specially invited “Zhongguan Management Consulting Company” from Taiwan to train our service personnel at all levels. To support the development of western regions, we have partnered with Kunming Vocational School in Yunnan to provide cooperative education, enabling students to apply what they have learned.

We have also collaborated with the Ministry of Agriculture to establish an agricultural technology exhibition and training base. In celebration of the 1,250th anniversary of Songjiang’s founding, we are willing to contribute our modest efforts, humbly learn from our sister organizations, leverage complementary strengths, focus on Songjiang, face Shanghai, explore domestic and international markets, promote Songjiang as a tourist destination within Shanghai, and make our contribution to the economic takeoff of Songjiang.

Dongjing Town: Dongjing Town was established in March 1978. To the east, it faces Panlong Town of Xinqiao across the water; to the north, it borders Sijing Town; to the west, it connects with the administrative committee of Sheshan National Tourism Resort Area; and to the south, it neighbors Meijiabang of Zhongshan Subdistrict. The town originally had 12 administrative villages. After two adjustments, it now has 6 administrative villages and 3 neighborhood committees, with a permanent population of 14,813, of which about 9,000 reside in the town center. The town has 4,600 households and 9,000 laborers. There is also a migrant population of 12,000.
