Shanghai Moon Lake Sculpture Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Moon Lake Sculpture Park is situated in Shanghai’s Sheshan National Tourist Resort and officially opened in 2005. With the philosophy of "returning to nature and enjoying art," it is a comprehensive art park that combines modern sculpture, natural landscapes, and landscape art. The first phase of the park spans 1,300 acres, including the 465-acre Moon Lake. The lakeside areas are divided into four sections representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter. More than 40 large-scale sculptures created by modern artists from around the world are integrated into the scenic landscape, offering a unique experience. The park entrance is exquisitely and simply designed, with the giant sculpture "Flight to Eternity" standing tall at the center. This piece also functions as a modern artistic sundial, created by Bulgarian-born Italian sculptor Giuseppe Ferlenga. Two rows of proud Canary Island date palms stand at attention, warmly welcoming every visitor and inviting them into an intellectual and emotional art paradise.

The design of the park is centered around the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The shores of Moon Lake are divided into four seasonal docks, each featuring distinct landscape and architectural styles, with supporting facilities reflecting the ambiance of each season. Passing through the parking lot, you enter the Moonlight Plaza, the main gate square of the park. Facing you is "Flight to Eternity," masterfully crafted by Bulgarian sculptor Gueorgui Ferlenga. A wing pointing straight to the sky resembles a giant wave of foaming bubbles, endlessly shattering and reborn in an eternal cycle. At the moment when heaven and earth merge, it casts its shadow upon the earth… Its journey leaves humanity with this message: an eternal path. Reflecting its meaning, we have also made "Flight to Eternity" into a sundial that rotates slowly over 24 hours, indicating the time. On the hour, chimes and music play, symbolizing the passage of time yet its eternal presence in space and time.

The Spring Shore consists of the Water Curtain Bridge, Visitor Service Center, Crystal Palace, and Water Stage. As you enter the park, the first thing that catches your eye is the uniquely designed Water Curtain Bridge. The bridge deck is made of organic glass and equipped with lighting features, while water jets are installed on both sides. In the evening, when the lights are on and the fountains splash, the splendid view is truly breathtaking. The Visitor Service Center was co-designed by internationally renowned artists with exceptional creativity. Every detail emphasizes artistry, visual appeal, and practicality. It offers services such as visitor information, medical aid, and luggage storage.
