Lotus Commune

Lotus Commune is an agrotourism resort integrating eco-tourism, dining, and entertainment. Originally the country's largest production and export base for aquatic flowers—Shanghai Xinhai Eco-Agriculture Development Co., Ltd.—the team at Xinhai spent ten years of dedication and expertise transforming this typical wetland environment into a naturally harmonious space. It has a 300-acre production, operation, and trial base.

A network of waterways runs throughout the park, where lush trees, lotus shadows, floral scents, and vibrant plants create a picturesque scene. In the early summer mornings, egrets soar across the blue sky, while in the evening, the lake glimmers under the setting sun. Friends can gather to fish under the trees or catch wild eels and lobsters by the fields. In winter, dine in the elegant waterside restaurant, surrounded by stunning pastoral landscapes, breathe in the fresh air of this “natural oxygen bar,” and enjoy richly flavored dishes and hotpots. Transportation

Starting from People’s Square, take the Yan’an Elevated Road for 10 km, then transfer to A20 Highway for 7.5 km, followed by A8 Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway for 38.5 km. Exit at “Xinbang,” turn left onto Yexin Highway after passing the Xinbang toll gate (4.4 km), then take the first right at the intersection with the sign pointing to Jiangnan Club (1.6 km after getting off the bridge) onto Xucun Highway. Arrive at Lotus Commune, Nanyang Village, Songjiang District, Shanghai (destination on the right).
