The Shanghai Petrochemical Exhibition Hall is a patriotic education base.

The Shanghai Petrochemical Exhibition Hall was initially built through funds raised by Shanghai Petrochemical and all its employees, and it first opened to the public on June 1, 1992. In 2002 and 2005, Shanghai Petrochemical and the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission jointly funded two rounds of renovation, and the venue was renamed the Shanghai Petrochemical Exhibition Hall and Shanghai Petrochemical Science and Technology Museum. In 2012, on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Shanghai Petrochemical carried out a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the exhibition hall.

The renovated Shanghai Petrochemical Exhibition Hall covers an exhibition area of 2,500 m², spread across two floors, and consists of three relatively independent sections: the Shanghai Petrochemical Corporate Exhibition Hall, the Shanghai Petrochemical Science and Technology Museum, and the Shanghai Petrochemical Culture and Art Museum.

The Shanghai Petrochemical Corporate Exhibition Hall showcases the development journey of Shanghai Petrochemical through coherent and comprehensive sections including Corporate Style, Historical Imprints, Corporate Culture, and Grand Blueprints.

The Shanghai Petrochemical Science and Technology Museum presents a wonderful, sci-fi, interactive, and engaging space that combines fun with cutting-edge petrochemical technology.

The Shanghai Petrochemical Culture and Art Museum displays selected artworks from renowned artists and creations by employees of Shanghai Petrochemical, highlighting the company’s profound artistic heritage and cultural depth.

This exhibition hall is recognized as a Shanghai Patriotic Education Base, a Shanghai Science Popularization Education Base, and a Shanghai Youth Education Base.
