Gu Zhenghong Memorial Hall (Site of Martyr Gu Zhenghong's Martyrdom) is a cultural relic protection unit of Putuo District, a classic red tourism attraction, and a patriotic education base.

Martyr Gu Zhenghong was an outstanding communist fighter nurtured by the Communist Party of China. In May 1925, the great "May 30th" Anti-Imperialist Movement, triggered by the sacrifice of Gu Zhenghong, went down in history. To carry forward the revolutionary traditions of the martyrs and promote patriotism, the Gu Zhenghong Memorial Hall was completed and opened on May 30, 2008, the 83rd anniversary of the "May 30th" Movement. It is open to the public free of charge and was named a "Shanghai Patriotic Education Base" by the Shanghai Municipal Government in December 2009.

The Gu Zhenghong Memorial Hall covers a total area of 1,300 square meters and consists of three parts: the Gu Zhenghong Memorial Square, the indoor exhibition, and the martyrdom site. The exhibition content is divided into seven sections: Dark Old China, A Childhood of Hardship, Working in a Japanese Factory, The Cradle of Revolution in Western Shanghai, The Flames of the February Strike, The Gu Zhenghong Tragedy and the May 30th Movement.
