Miss's Building is a cultural relic protection unit of Qiqihar City.

Miss's Building

This small building, once filled with precious treasures and ancient books, bears a poetic folk name in the old city of Boqi: Miss's Building. It is located on the east side of Wenhua Street in Jianhua District and was originally the library building of the Heilongjiang Provincial Library, proposed for construction by Heilongjiang Governor Zhou Shumu in the 34th year of the Guangxu Emperor.

The two-story brick-and-wood structure now functions as staff dormitories for Qiqihar University. In November 2002, it was listed as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.

Judging from these broken wood pieces, they were once the beams of the second-floor corridor, and the wooden boards of the eaves still remain. The various items hanging on the walls—whether they still connect to the past of this small building, one can only wonder. Against the backdrop of the surrounding environment, this little building appears even more weathered and worn...
