Qiqihar International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Qiqihar International Convention and Exhibition Center is located on the east bank of the rippling Nenjiang River, north of the Qiqihar Municipal Party Committee and Government Office Center. This large-scale project was planned and constructed by the Qiqihar Municipal Party Committee and Government to meet the needs of the China-Qiqihar Green Food Expo and various large-scale conferences and exhibitions.

The project was approved in 2004, construction began in May 2005, and it was completed and put into use in August 2006. The total investment for the project was 230 million RMB. The completion of the Qiqihar International Convention and Exhibition Center filled a long-standing gap in the city for a large-scale convention and exhibition venue. At the same time, it has added a new landmark and highlight to the city, becoming an iconic building in Qiqihar.

The convention and exhibition center covers a land area of 23,000 m², with a building area of 33,245 m². The main exhibition hall has a ceiling height of 18 m and covers an area of 6,500 m². The two auxiliary exhibition halls on the north and south sides have a ceiling height of 15 m, with each hall covering an area of 5,600 m². The second floor includes auxiliary exhibition spaces. The multifunctional hall houses meeting rooms of various sizes, office and negotiation rooms, while the basement contains a restaurant and equipment rooms. The convention and exhibition center is equipped with four elevators, four escalators, as well as advanced facilities such as an air conditioning system, deluge and water cannon fire suppression systems, and a security monitoring and patrol system, providing excellent support and exhibition setup conditions.

The exhibition hall has 1,018 international standard booths, which can not only host major national green food expos but can also be adapted for various large-scale display and trade fairs related to agriculture, industry, light industrial products, local products, tourism, and more.
