Mongolian Culture Park

Mongolian Culture Park was built in 2001 with an investment of over 2 million yuan through attracting business investments. The park is located within Shoushan Tourist Resort, 17 kilometers from Taikang Town, the capital of Dorbod Mongol Autonomous County. The cluster of Mongolian yurts here, together with the peculiar elm trees of Shoushan and Longhu Lake, create a picturesque scene.

The entrance gate of Mongolian Culture Park is flanked by four wheels from a traditional Mongolian cart, symbolizing the long history and splendid culture of the Mongolian people. Above the gate on both sides hang cattle and sheep skulls, representing the prosperity of livestock and peace among all domestic animals on the grassland.

Mongolian Culture Park focuses on showcasing the essence of Mongolian folk customs. The Mongolian Wedding Performance Hall (equivalent to a modern wedding chapel) is an indispensable part of the park. To allow visitors to fully experience the grandeur of a Mongolian wedding and its unique marriage customs, this performance hall was specially constructed. It can recreate a traditional Mongolian wedding ceremony for visitors to enjoy.

The multifunctional entertainment square at Mongolian Culture Park offers traditional Mongolian games such as playing "Buru" (a type of throwing game) and "Wulan Hong" (a form of kickball). Nearby are the Shatala Mongolian Chess House and the Mongolian Storytelling House. At the Mongolian Storytelling House, visitors can enjoy authentic Mongolian storytelling and the art of "Huanggaobao" (a form of Mongolian musical storytelling).

It borders Lindian to the east, neighbors Daqing to the south, and is adjacent to Yixin Township and Kertai Township to the west and north respectively.
