Xilin Gol invites you to join the grassland-themed tech party — the Grassland eSports Carnival

Focusing on eSports and drones, which are hugely popular among young people, the First Xilin Gol Grassland eSports Carnival will be held on July 13–14, 2019, at the Madu Racecourse in Xilinhot, the capital of Xilin Gol League. This also marks the launch of the Xilin Gol League sub-venue of the Autonomous Region’s Horse Culture Expo. A blend of tradition and modernity, tranquility and excitement, eSports, drones, and grassland culture come together to create a new summer tourism highlight on the grasslands, offering you a brand-new midsummer grassland experience.

The event is hosted by the People's Government of Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and organized by ESPTV eSports World, the Culture, Sports, Tourism, Radio, Film and Television Bureau of Xilin Gol League, Xilinhot Municipal Government, Xilin Gol Vocational College, Xilin Gol League Cultural Tourism Investment Group, and the Communist Youth League Xilin Gol League Committee.

Here’s a look at the exciting schedule

The First Grassland eSports Carnival features two core events: the National College eSports Championship Finals and the International Drone Racing Invitational.

National College eSports Championship — The National College eSports Championship is an eSports competition for vocational college students majoring in eSports, jointly organized by the China College eSports Alliance and ESPTV eSports World. The first edition of the championship is supported by the National Mobile eSports Super League (CMEL), approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and serves as its collegiate league. Winning teams will qualify for the CMEL finals. In this year’s championship finals, university teams from 16 provinces and cities will compete for the title in two games: League of Legends and Honor of Kings, with nearly 200 participants.

Drone Racing — The International Drone Racing Invitational is one of the series of events hosted by ESPTV eSports World this year. Authorized and advised by the AOPA Association under the Civil Aviation Administration of China, it is a professional drone racing competition. The event invites 40 pilots to compete, including internationally renowned racers, members of the national drone racing team, and winners from previous national competitions.

Together, they form the unique cultural tourism identity of Xilin Gol League.
