The Halahai Site

The Halahai Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Heilongjiang Province.

The Halahai Site is located 2,000 meters west of Halahai Village in Talaha Town. It dates back to the Bronze Age and is classified as an ancient ruin.

On January 31, 2005, the Halahai Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Heilongjiang Province.

Talaha Town: Located in the southern part of Dorbod Mongol Autonomous County, it is 97 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Daqing City to the east, Yaoxin Township to the south, Bayan Chagan Township to the north, and faces Zhenlai County of Jilin Province across the river to the west. The town covers a total area of 466.7 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages and 27 natural hamlets, with a total population of 23,040, including 18,021 agricultural residents. Among them, the Mongolian population is 4,810, accounting for 20.8% of the total.
