Dahe Island is located 3.5 kilometers east of Lanxi County and was formed by the alluvial deposits of the Hulan River. Dahe Island Ecological Park is a large-scale park that integrates pastoral landscapes, dining and entertainment, leisure vacations, and agrotourism. Covering an area of 600,000 square meters, the park is surrounded by water on all sides and backed by mountains on three. It features 400,000 square meters of natural shrub willow forests and is home to over 20 species of wild animals including pheasants, hares, hog badgers, and various birds, earning it the reputation of an “ecological pearl.” The park includes the Longquan Mountain Villa and Fengwu Mountain Villa, built in imitation of the TV series *Liu Laogen*, as well as a children’s playground, the Lanxi Folk Culture Park, a northern pastoral leisure area, the River God Temple, the Five Flavors Bridge, and landscaped art pieces such as a twelve-zodiac garden trimmed from shrubs, a century-old banyan tree, a Dutch windmill, Lover’s Valley, the Green Island Holiday Villa Area, and the Dahe Island Green Ecological Hotel. The park is lush with trees, exuding an original and mysterious charm, with pleasant flowers, birdsong, and fresh air—offering a true pastoral scene. It is an ideal place for people to escape the hustle and bustle of crowded environments, reconnect with nature, relax, enjoy rural charm and folk culture, and rejuvenate both body and mind. The park can accommodate up to a hundred guests for meals and lodging. Visitors can pick and eat fresh produce grown on the island. You can also take a boat from the Donglin Temple Scenic Area to tour the island or enjoy a fun day out on the water.
