The former site of Unit 100 covers an area 500 meters wide from east to west and 1,000 meters long from north to south, totaling 500,000 square meters. It is a complex consisting of over a hundred small and large bungalows and buildings. Among them, there is one two-story building covering 720 square meters, with the first floor used as a bacterial specimen room and the second floor as the headquarters. There is also a “王”-shaped building that served as an animal dissection room and crematorium (corpse incinerator). Three bungalows were used as breeding rooms for small animals (rodents), and another 20 bungalows were used as stables for horses, cattle, sheep, and other livestock. On the eve of Japan’s surrender, the unit removed all valuable equipment and had engineers demolish the buildings by explosives.

On October 7, 2019, the Site of Unit 100 of the Japanese Invading Army in China was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
