The Ancient City of Bodonai is a key cultural relics protection unit in Jilin Province. It is located 200 meters southeast of the seat of Bodu Township Government, 12.5 kilometers north of Ningjiang District, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. It can be accessed via Highway 1092. The terrain here is relatively flat, with plains to the east, south, and west of the city, and a northeast-southwest oriented undulating ridge in the northeast. It lies 4 kilometers from the Second Songhua River, making it an area abundant in water and grass, with fertile fields and rich land. The Yongshan Temple still stands today, covering an area of 50,000 square meters, and includes more than 10 structures such as the Mahavira Hall and the Guanyin Hall. It has fixed reception facilities and can accommodate over 100,000 visitors annually. In addition, to promote the patriotic and people-loving national spirit of the historical figure Hong Hao, and in line with the goal of building a renowned tourist destination, plans are underway to develop the Bodupei Historical Museum, the Hong Hao Memorial Hall, and the ancient city site.
