Situated in the bustling northwest of Shengli Bridge and also called Tuanjie Street, Russian-Style Street retains 38 buildings from the former Far Eastern White Russia period, boasting a history of over a century. It is the first Russian-style street in China with the architectural essence of Russia in the 19th and 20th centuries. This street leads to Dalian’s most thriving national-grade wholesale market — Shuangxing Commodity City (commonly referred to as “Da Cai Shi” by locals). In terms of construction quality, it is truly top-tier, having won numerous awards in real estate development. Although it was expanded and renovated on the foundation of the original residential streets, it still showcases a high-end, luxurious architectural standard. Aesthetically, it embodies the charm of Russian style, with the entire street lined with uneven "spire-style" and "tower-style" single-family buildings that evoke envy among locals and awe among visitors from out of town — the hardware and environment genuinely carry a “Russian flavor.” As a result, it attracts many tour groups for special visits. It is a Russian-style street in Dalian that integrates tourism, sightseeing, shopping, leisure, dining, and entertainment.

Russian-Style Street is 500 meters long, with a total planned area of about 50,000 square meters. The first phase of the project commenced in March 2000, was completed on September 15, and delivered for use on September 30. The street primarily features European-style architecture. It houses Russian restaurants, nightclubs, bars, tourist handicrafts, souvenir shops, and more. Additionally, there are wax figures depicting the administrative scenes of the Far Eastern Governors of White Russia in the 1920s and 1930s, who once worked and produced goods in the Dalian area, as well as entertainment facilities such as Russian-style horse-drawn carriages, offering distinctive tourism experiences. The authentic foreign ambiance allows visitors to enjoy a pure taste of another culture without the hassle of traveling abroad.

Shanghai Road, which connects to Russian-Style Street, is just a stone’s throw away from Tianjin Street and Zhongshan Square — Dalian’s financial and commercial hub that sees up to 800,000 visitors daily — and lies along the route to the railway station and Dalian Port.

With comprehensive supporting services, an authentic foreign atmosphere, and a wide variety of commercial shops, Russian-Style Street attracts both domestic and international tourists for sightseeing, shopping, commemorative visits, leisure, and consumption, allowing you to fully enjoy its charm without traveling far abroad.

To showcase historical authenticity and revive the exotic atmosphere, the Dalian Municipal Government decided to renovate all the buildings on this street, transforming it into a Russian-Style Street in Dalian that integrates tourism, sightseeing, shopping, leisure, dining, and entertainment.
