Han Tombs at SheShanzi

The Han Tombs at SheShanzi are a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The Han Dynasty site at SheShanzi is located in SheShanzi Village, Duanjia Township, Heishan County, Liaoning Province. It includes both residential and burial sites. The residential site lies to the north of SheShanzi Village, while the burial site is situated about half a li northwest of the village. The residential area sits on an elevated terrace, stretching 200 meters from north to south and approximately 150 meters from east to west. A large quantity of fabric-patterned roof tiles buried underground confirms that the site dates back to the Han Dynasty. All tombs are located underground. In the past, farming activities have unearthed tombs and urn coffins. In 1958, during farmland infrastructure development, a stone coffin was excavated, containing the remains of a tribal chief along with burial objects, which were later taken away by the city museum. It has been listed as one of the provincial-level cultural relic protection units of Liaoning Province.

Protected area: with the marker stele as the center, extending 250 meters east and west, and 500 meters north and south.

Construction control zone: a Class I construction control zone extends within 60 meters outside the protected area.
