Khalha Basalt Stone Forest Geopark The Khalha Basalt Stone Forest Geopark is located within Raohe County in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, 61 kilometers due north of the county seat in a straight line. Stretching from northwest to southeast into ridges over a length of 14 kilometers, its highest peak stands at an elevation of 363 meters. "Khalha" is a Manchu word, translated as meaning "tortoise shield."
