Longhu Forest Park is situated in Longtou Town, Baoqing County, with a total area of 92.6 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of 65%. It is a provincial-level forest park. The infrastructure is excellent, and the park is rich in wildlife. It was once home to Siberian tigers and elk (also called "four-not-like"), and even now, brown bears and sika deer can still be seen from time to time. The area also has abundant bird, amphibian, and fish species. The park has developed health and leisure tourism projects such as a water park, wildlife breeding and viewing, fishing, and forest bathing.

The park is surrounded by mountains, dense forests, and crisscrossing streams. With its majestic peaks and clear streams as its framework, the scenery is beautiful and pleasant. The summer is cool, making it ideal for escaping the heat, while the winter is cold and suitable for skiing and hunting. The main scenic spot in the park, Longtouqiao Reservoir, is a national second-class reservoir jointly built with investment from China and Japan. It has a total storage capacity of 615 million cubic meters and serves multiple purposes including flood control, irrigation, fish farming, and tourism. The shimmering water surface, vast and blue, is like a bright pearl embedded among the beautiful mountains.

Based on the distribution of terrain, vegetation, and tourism resources, the park is divided into nine zones: ecological buffer zone, forest health zone, hiking and sightseeing zone, management and service zone, hunting zone, skiing and grass-skiing zone, water and ice entertainment zone, animal and plant breeding and viewing zone, and medicinal herb cultivation zone.

Once completed, Longhu Forest Park will become one of the tourist destinations integrating sightseeing, summer retreat, conferences, and leisure vacations. It will complement Xingkai Lake, Jingpo Lake, and Lianhua Lake to form a comprehensive tourism system in the eastern part of the province.
